Yes it is nice to see some instant progress, but believe me when I say that your friends and family are not in most cases the most efficient way to build your network marketing business. Unless your family are of course marketing geniuses, but for the sake of this post we will play the odds and assume that they are not.

Now lets learn some awesome network marketing lead generation techniques to get money into your pocket as soon as possible!

Building Relationships

Network marketing is a relationship business. With all the hype going around on the Internet, you really have to build a relationship with your prospects in order to earn their trust.

When I market online I am always looking for automation and you should too. Automation will allow you to build potentially as many relationships as you want and gaining your prospect’s trust at the same time.

The only way to do this is to get an auto responder. Auto responders are cheap and they are a must have if you are promoting your network marketing business online.

What do you connect your auto responder up to you ask? Well you can link it to virtually anything, but for the best results I would recommend a lead capture page, also known as a squeeze page. The purpose of your lead capture page is to drive as much traffic to it as you can to obtain one thing – their name and email address.

Now you cannot just put an opt-in form on a website and expect people to enter in their valuable information. People take a lot of value in who they are and their personal info. What you have to do is offer them something that is valuable enough to them that they literally cannot exists to say no to your opt-in form. A good example of something that you can offer is a free or cheap informational product.

If you do sell a product on your lead capture page, this is called leading with a front end product. This is one technique that several Network Marketers use because about 97% of the people that you talk to about your main business opportunity will unfortunately say no.

A funded proposal is used to make money off of that 97% of people that do say no. The more sources of income you can get, the better! A funded proposal also helps to pay for advertising (if you are using Pay-Per-Click but we will get into that later) and other business expenses.

A technique that I like to use for my funded proposal is to get them to opt in to my website BEFORE I ever try to sell them anything. This way, I do not scare them away from my lead capture page because I tried to sell them something. I still get their name and email address and I still build a relation ship with them.

Lead generation is the best way to build your network marketing business and you only get one shot at every person that comes to your website to get their name and email. Do not blow it with a mistake that several network marketers make and that is selling before building a good relationship.

Informational products are a good decision because honestly most people would rather learn how to do something than actually do it. Of course the product that you offer should be about the Network Marketing Industry so that you can help them achieve their dreams along with their success.

Once you get their name and email address that is when you instantly start to build up a relationship with that prospect thanks to the good ole auto responder! You then can send them information about your opportunity and even call them.

Another thing, if you are presenting yourself as a leader through your emails and the advice that you give them, do not be surprised if you get prospects calling you asking about your opportunity. How cool is that? This is the concept of attraction marketing in its simplest form.

Lead capture pages are usually simple websites with an opt-in form, headlines, and a video.

Some people choose not to put a video on their lead capture page but I have found that you can get the best results if you do have a video on it. Can you guess why? It all focuses back on that Network Marketing is a relationship business.

The individuals that visit your website like to see your face, they like to see that you are a real person, and they want to know who they will be dealing with.

So it is really funny because several years back in my early years of network marketing I obviously did not understand the concept of network marketing lead generation. It does take a lot of content to drive massive amounts of traffic to your blog but once you do start ranking for keywords on the front page of Google, you are there for a very long time.

When you provide valuable information to the community that is what will make you a leader and the leaders are the people that get the clicks to their website, which ultimately ends up in sales.
